Let's take a look at how we Germinate Cannabis seeds and how to plant them once you have a successful germination.
I Rely on the old wet paper towel in a plastic bag for germinating seeds. This not only works with germinating cannabis seeds but all germinating seeds as well. From my experience you can always rely on the wet paper towel in a plastic bag for germinating cannabis seeds. Watch the video above to learn more on how to germinate cannabis seeds.
Our seeds have sprouted their tap roots and it is time to get them potted. Let's place our 3 germinated cannabis seeds in our 2 gallon pots filled with coco. Make sure you always thoroughly flush your coco, often times it is filled with salts that will kill your seedlings. Poke a shallow hole about 1/4" to 1/2" deep and place the germinated seed with the tap root facing down. Gently back fill with coco and lightly pat her down. Watch the quick video below to see it done up close.
Hey BLG. What happened to your youtube channel? Did it get deleted or something. Miss your videos man
No problem. I am a fan of rapid rooters but also use those small rockwool cubes when I'll be growing then out via deep water culture (DWC)
Andrewcrossman83 you are definitely right brotha, Rapid rooters work great as well. You must be very gentle with the small germinated seeds. I do see how rapid roots can be a little safer and easier for germinating. Thanks for checking out the thread much love.
While the method you laid out works well, and I've used it for years with a good success rate, there are still times where damage can occur on the young root when you're 3g the seedlings from the paper towel to your medium of choice. Typically this can be avoided by keeping the paper towel moist and using proper tools, but shit happens.
Instead of using the wet paper towel, I submerge the seed in water for about 24 hours, 36 max. Then pop them in a Rapid Rooter, soil, etc;
